Wildflower Garden
Turid Forsyth, the well-known garden photographer who has contributed many wonderful books on gardening, changes her garden depending on the photographs she needs. At various times Turid’s garden has focused on annuals, perennials, herbs and other culinary plants.
At the moment her focus is on wildflowers and particularly those which are used for dying and drying arrangements. (It was an honour to have had the opportunity to take these photographs of Turid’s garden. To view larger images, click on each picture and then click “back” to return to this page).
In July it is awash with annual blue larkspur which floats among the oxeye daisies, marguerite daisy, black-eyed susan, artemesia, camomile and hollyhocks.
Everywhere you turn in this delightful wildflower garden you’ll find something to catch your eye, to cause you to pause a while and savour the beauty of nature.
