Sunny Cottage Gardens
The cottage garden will contain a combination of perennials and annuals chosen for their continuous bloom and for cutting. Generally situated in sunny spots, some of the best bet plants for a cottage garden in Eastern Ontario will include:
Bee Balm - In bright red or mauvy purple, Bee balm will grow to about 2′ high and blooms in July. It fills in a large space very quickly but it’s spread can be easily controlled.
